Tribal Fusion Choreography & Technique
Lava will be teaching two pieces of tribal fusion choreography for a full well-rounded day! There will be technique drills with special focus for specific tribal fusion movements including some of your favorite challenging moves hopefully some you haven’t seen before with Lava’s signature styling!

For all levels of dance experience.

Please wear comfortable clothing, bring a yoga mat if you have one (mats are available for use at the venue also). Water & snack provided.

The first part will be spent learning five common rhythms in Arabic dance. We will learn a rhythm and drum it, then listen to that rhythm in musical context, and drum it again.

The second half we will learn rhythms with the zils, alone and paired with dance moves. We will try drills and rhythm trade-offs for a fun challenge.

We will finish off with a drum/zil combo where we dance to our own music!

For all levels of dance experience. When registering please request drums and/or zills if needed - you will not be empty-handed!
